Il Berry Racing Team è nato nel 2002, quando Alessandro Berretti, che vanta una pluriennale esperienza nel settore motociclistico come pilota, (ha corso a livelli professionistici sia nel Campionato Italiano125 SP che nel Campionato Europeo e Spagnolo 125 GP), ha deciso di creare una struttura efficace e competitiva per mettere a disposizione di altri piloti l’esperienza di anni di competizioni con tecnici di provata esperienza che adesso militano nella più rinomata moto GP ( Matteoni, Cordioli ecc… ). Nel 2006 il Berry Racing Team parteciperà al Campionato Italiano Velocità classe Supersport 600 cc. e Superstock 1000 cc. , correremo con Honda, per quanto riguarda gli pneumatici, riconfermiamo il rapporto con Dunlop, ed avremo il contratto di Test Team con Dunlop UK. Il team si compone di Alessandro Beretti (Team Manager), della Dott.ssa Simona Vignali (Resp. Commerciale, e di Flavio Pucci (Pilota).
In 2002 the Berry Racing Team was born out of the passion of founders Alessandro Berretti and Simona Vignali for competitive racing, which the two turned into a profitable enterprise after being actively involved for a period of time in the world of motorcycle racing. Alessandro, once a rider and then Team Manager, and Simona put an efficient team together and with the aid and support of technical sponsors and the right kind of logistical organization, have contributed to the formation of many riders by taking part in various trophy competitions. Since 2004 the team has competed in the Italian Speed Championships for three consecutive seasons (2004-2005-2006), supported by Kawasaki Europe Italia, with riders of the calibre of Alessandro Antonello (Supersport 600 class), Gianfranco Guareschi (SuperStock 1000 class), Fabrizio Pellizzon (SuperStock 1000 class), and has taken second position in the Best Team 2006 ranking. During the same period (2005-2006) they became Dunlop UK’s Development Team.
The Assen Race on 3rd September 2006 with new recruit Riccardo Chiarello was the Berry Racing Team’s first time in the FIM STK 1000 World Cup.
The 2007 season was a period of transition and preparation during which the Team competed for the Kawasaki Trophy. At the end of the season the partnership with Kawasaki Europe Italia also came to an end and the Berry Racing Team announced a qualitative leap forward by taking part in the Supersport 600 World Championships in the 2008 season, with the support of Honda and the two top riders Gianluca Vizziello and Mirko Giansanti.
